Resource Geologist
Knowledge of the age and crustal environment of a mineralising event are important tools in the exploration for oil, gas as well as base and precious metal mineral deposits. Establishing the age of mineralisation allows resource geoscientists to refine exploration models by selecting areas with rock sequences of similar age and character.
